Golden Eaglets goalkeeper, Joseph Oluwabusola, has urged his teammates to make Nigeria proud after their 2-1 defeat against Australia in their final Group B encounter at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil on Friday.
The Bournemouth shot-stopper also urged Manu Garba’s men to work on their finishing, having played thirty-four shots against Australia with only one ending up in the back of the net.
"We're obviously a little disappointed that we've lost, it's unfortunate. I think it's hard luck, sometimes we've been a bit unlucky," Allnigeriasoccer quoted the 16-year-old as telling reporters after the match.

"We're putting in our best, I know we're going to train really hard in the next few days. Football is a game about goals and I know and I know that with the help of our coaches we will be able to train on finishing.
”It is unfortunate that again we conceded goals, one was a penalty but I know that by God’s grace in the round of 16 we’ll win and we will keep on winning, we will put in a lot of effort to make Nigeria proud.”
