EPL: Bournemouth manager statement after his side defeated Man Utd

Eddie Howe, manager of Bournemouth, has praised his team for defeating Manchester United 1-0 in the early kick-off on Saturday. 

Just before the interval, Josh King grabbed the game's only goal. The Cherries had more chances in the second half to score more goals but wasting them. 

Afterwards, Howe said to BT Sport: "It's been a really good game, we were solid and competitive, we looked a real threat and thankfully we got over the line and kept another clean sheet.

“I thought we did not start well, we grew into the game but in the first 10 minutes they had too much of the ball.

“Once we settled down we were fine. We looked like we could score but what pleases me the most is how we defended our lead.
