Rafael Nadal is through to the US Open semi-finals but he was pushed all the way by Diego Schwartzman.
In the first set, Nadal raced into a 4-0 double break lead but the little Argentine rocked the Spaniard to win four games in a row and get back on serve.
However, Nadal regained his composure to break Schwartzman in the tenth game of the set to win it 6-4 and then blasted into a 5-1 lead in the second set.
But just like the first set, Nadal lost his double break lead before breaking Schwartzman to win the set 7-5 and in the third set, the 18-time Grand Slam champion overpowered the 20th seed to seal his place in the last four and a match against Matteo Berrettini.
