Rafael Nadal blasts into US Open final with dominant display over Matteo Berrettini

Rafael Nadal is through to the US Open final after a 7-6 6-4 6-1 win over Matteo Berrettini.

The first set was an even contest and went into a tiebreak, where Berrettini led 4-0 and had two set points at 6-4 but he failed to take them and he was punished dearly as Nadal hit back to steal it and take the lead.

Midway through the second set, Nadal finally got the first break of the match when the pressure on Berrettini finally told and the second seed was wrapped up the set 6-4.

And in the third set, Nadal's class was too much for his Italian opponent as blasted winners at will and set up a final against Daniil Medvedev.
