Liverpool are back on top of the Premier League table ahead of the final week of this campaign, following a thrilling 3-2 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohammed Salah scored either side of a Christian Atsu goal, to give the Reds a half-time lead.
Salomon Rondon equalized for the hosts, before substitute Divock Origi headed in a late winner.
If Manchester City, who have won 12 league games in a row, beat Leicester on Monday and Brighton next Sunday, they will be champions again.
But a slip up in either of those games and Liverpool will win the league, if they beat Wolves at Anfield next weekend.
