Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid: Man Utd manager SPEAKS OUT on stunning appointment claim

JOSE MOURINHO has been asked about reports Real Madrid want to appoint him as their new manager.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is under pressure to get results at Old Trafford.

He is the favourite to be the first Premier League manager sacked this season, while over in Spain Julen Lopetegui is tipped to lose his job at Real Madrid.

Mourinho has emerged as a shock candidate to replace Lopetegui at the Bernabeu.
But the Portuguese boss insists he is not thinking of leaving United.

I’m happy here and to see out my contract and I would like to stay after my contract runs out as well,” he said.

"All I’m thinking about is United.”
Mourinho signed a contract extension last season, keeping him at  until 2020.

But he risks the sack unless he can dramatically turn around United’s season.

The Red Devils sit nine points behind Manchester City in the title race, while they are already out of the EFL Cup.
They face Juventus on Tuesday in a crunch Champions League group game.
He was then pushed on Paul Pogba, being asked if the midfielder has developed as much as the manager thought he would.
And Mourinho was not happy with the question, saying: “I don’t like this press conference, I don’t like to talk about individuals.

“I don’t want to speak to the Spanish journalists because they are only interested in Real Madrid and Ronaldo.
“I’m going to play against one of the biggest teams in the world and that’s what motivates me and brings me here and I think the press conference is going in other directions and if it is I want to go in other direction.”
