India's Sania Mirza and her partner Ivan Dodig were knocked out by Barbora Krejcikova and Marin Draganja in the mixed doubles at the 2016 US Open.
The top seeded Sania-DOdig lost to unseeded Krejcikova-Draganja 3-6, 4-6 in mixed-doubles 2nd round on Sunday.
In the match that lasted 65 minutes, Mirza-Dodig were broken twice in the first four games and they eventually lost the first set at 3-6.
In the second set, the Czech-Croat pair broke thrice despite being themselves broken twice to wrap the set at 6-4.
It was the 71 percent overall points that they won first serve which made the overall difference.
