Real Madrid have reportedly dropped their interest in De Gea
David De Gea has dropped the biggest hint yet that he will stay at Manchester United this summer.
Real Madrid had been expected to return with a bid for the Spain goalkeeper this month after seeing their long-winded pursuit of him fall through last year.
However, it now appears Real are unlikely to chase De Gea's signature again this summer, after manager Zinedine Zidane insisted he is happy with Keylor Navas as his No 1.
And De Gea has now revealed that he's happy at Old Trafford and is looking forward to working under new boss Jose Mourinho.
"I am already at a big club, who give me love every day," he told Cadena Ser.
"I am grateful towards Manchester United, it is a very big club and I am very happy there.
"I think United needed a great coach like Mourinho, a coach with a personality, a winner. Mourinho signing for Manchester United is a wise move."
