Mauro Icardi
Arsenal were dealt their first major blow of the summer transfer window when Jamie Vardy rejected a move to the Emirates.
The England forward fired Leicester City to the Premier League
title in 2015/16 and the Gunners triggered the £20million release
clause in his contract earlier this month. After mulling over the offer,
29-year-old Vardy instead opted to stay put at the King Power, agreeing a new deal.
So Arsenal must dust themselves off and go
again, as a new striker is said to be Arsene Wenger's number one
priority before next season.
He has a number of playmakers capable of laying on assists, so who will he turn to?
