Inter Milan have made a formal approach for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
That’s according to Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio, who arrived back in Milan after a meeting with United chiefs in London.
"We had an official approach with Man Utd for Lukaku. We're working, we'll see. Every player we treat is wanted by Conte,” Ausilio told Sky Sports.
The Serie A side have been struggling to meet United's demands for Lukaku, who arrived at the club in a transfer worth £75million plus add-ons and still has three years left on his contract.
