Transfer report: Arsenal and Chelsea keen on Henrikh Mkhitaryan but Juventus leading battle for Borussia Dortmund star
Juventus are leading the race for Arsenal and Chelsea target Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The attacking midfielder is refusing to sign a new deal at Borussia Dortmund and, with his contract due to expire in 12 months, he is expected to leave this summer.
Arsenal and Chelsea are very keen on the Armenian, who registered 32 assists last season, while Manchester United and Tottenham are monitoring the situation too.
However, according to Tuttosport, Juventus are leading the way and have opened talks with Mkhitaryan.
The Italian champions are ready to offer the 27-year-old wages of around £60,000-a-week to lure him to Turin.
But Mkhitaryan's agent, Mino Raiola, is reportedly demanding interested clubs offer a salary of £90,000-a-week - which could allow Premier League sides to scupper Juve's deal.
