Portugal score in extra time as Poland win on penalties, Wales beat N. Ireland

 
Portugal set up a quarterfinal against Poland, who got past Switzerland 5-4 on penalties earlier in the day, the game ending 1-1 after 120 minutes.Kamil Grosicki squeezed a pass through for Jakub Blaszczykowski to score the opener in the 39th minute, but with eight minutes to play, Swiss star Xherdan Shaqiri delivered a spectacular bicycle kick for the equaliser.
However, there was heartbreak for the Swiss supporters when Grzegorz Krychowiak scored the decisive penalty in the shootout, after Switzerland's Granit Xhaka smashed his spot kick well wide.
