Martin Skrtel's agent claims it is "90%" certain that the axed defender will quit Liverpool this summer.
Skrtel,
31, wants to leave because he has lost his starting place under Jurgen
Klopp and his representative Karol Csonto says Besiktas are interested
in the Slovakian international.
Csonto told TV Markiz in
Slovakia: "Besiktas is one of those interested in Martin, but we haven't
reached a point where I can confirm Martin is going there, or anywhere
else.
"But I can say that it is 90% sure Martin will leave Liverpool, but it is far from closed."
Skrtel has struggled with injuries this season and his chances have been limited following his return to fitness.
The Slovakian has made just 29 appearances and since returning to
fitness has found himself behind the likes of Dejan Lovren and Kolo
Toure in Jurgen Klopp's pecking order.
The summer arrival of Joel Matip
will accelerate Skrtel's exit after nine years at Anfield with the
popular centre-half seemingly heading to Turkey with Besiktas.
