Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris to join French giants

Tottenham’s first choice goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris is set to join Paris Saint-Germain, according to Spanish outlet, AS.
The newspaper reports that the French champions are preparing an offer for the goalkeeper.
Lloris won the World Cup with France last summer and is set to captain Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the Champions League final against Liverpool next month.
The Frenchman has, however, made a number of big mistakes in important games that have seen his stock fall in recent seasons.
However, his leadership skills are still highly valued by France and Tottenham.
AS claimed that PSG plan to make a summer move for the 32-year-old, who has three years left on his current contract with Spurs.
The report suggests Lloris has an ‘exit clause’ in his deal that could make negotiations with Tottenham easier for PSG.
It’s unclear exactly what that means, but it’s unlikely to be a release clause similar to the one that is making Toby Alderweireld’s future at the club uncertain.
Lloris hasn’t been linked with a move away from Spurs for some time, so the story appears to be a little speculative for now.
