It is difficult to understand why Tottenham have signed Moussa Sissoko for £30 million

It has been one of the more entertaining transfer deadline day sagas. Both Tottenham and Everton were apparently interested in Moussa Sissoko, but eventually it was Spurs who signed the France international.

Can anyone work out how Newcastle commanded these sorts of prices?
They’ve certainly done well for a side relegated after such a poor previous season.

And then there’s the Arsenal problem.
But some fans aren’t bothered and have displayed maturity in the face of Sissoko’s Arsenal comments.

Hey, this might be a great signing! Give the guy some time.
In fact, some might say the Tottenham squad is looking pretty healthy.
