Is Manchester United vs City in doubt due to weather?

The Manchester and Merseyside derbies are being thrown into doubt with heavy snow forecast in the North.
Up to eight inches is expected to hit the area this afternoon, with problems already on the roads and public transport. Under-pitch heating at Old Trafford would clear the playing surface, but it is safety issues outside which are the issue.
Manchester City Council among others could call the mouth-watering match off if supporters are affected by hazardous conditions around the ground . There is a yellow or amber Met Office warning in place, one of the most dangerous.
“All train lines in the Southampton area will be closed for maintenance on the day, with replacement bus services.” London’s Underground network is facing delays and cancellations already, as supporters try to get around the country. Batshuayi to leave Chelsea on loan in January as Antonio Conte targets a new striker for squad

Antonio Conte will allow the £33million striker to be loaned out when next month’s window opens — and target a replacement.
Batshuayi, 24, hopes regular football in the second half of the season will book a World Cup spot with Belgium. The ex-Marseille ace has scored only two league goals this term and is not a key part of Conte’s plans.
West Ham were keen last season and other clubs are ready to join the race. Last week he came on as a sub against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League then scored two for Chelsea’s Under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy.

But Batshuayi was left on the bench as Chelsea fell to a shock 1-0 defeat against West Ham on Saturday. Marko Arnautovic scored the only goal of the game as Conte’s men failed to impress in east London.
And the Italian reckons Chelsea’s title defence is now over, explaining: “This is the fourth defeat this season in 16 games. “When you have this stat, it’s impossible to think you’re in the title race.”

United missed out on me as Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor because of the Scotsman’s ACCENT - Guardiola

The pair dined together in New York back in 2012 when Red Devils legend Fergie was searching for his eventual replacement.
Ferguson has since admitted talking to the former all-conquering Barcelona coach about taking charge of United. But Guardiola, now boss at noisy neighbours Manchester City , revealed: “I know he said that, but I don’t remember. “When he spoke really fast, it was difficult to understand him.
“My English is not perfect now, but it’s a little bit better. But in that period, my English was not good and maybe I didn’t understand him.
“I don’t remember, when we were in a magnificent restaurant having dinner, that he suggested to me I should go to Old Trafford. “But it was nice because he chose an amazing restaurant and, of course, he paid.”

Instead, Guardiola left the Catalan giants for Bayern Munich, where he won three Bundesliga titles, one Fifa Club World Cup, a Uefa Super Cup and two German Cups during his glittering spell, before joining City.
