Man United to pay Zlatan Ibrahimovic £200k per week; Chelsea chase Kjaer

Top Story: Zlatan's contract details emerge

Zlatan Ibrahimovic heads the talk in the English newspapers on Wednesday, with the Swede tipped for a move to Manchester United given Jose Mourinho's imminent move to take the reigns at Old Trafford.
The Mail reports that the former PSG forward makes up part of Mourinho's shopping list in the market and will command an astonishing £8 million signing-on fee and wages that could climb over £200,000-per-week.
There is an obvious mutual respect between the pair since their brief spell together at Inter Milan and with the former PSG star available on a free transfer, the timing could not be better for them to rekindle their relationship and kick-start a revolution at United.

Fenerbahce put £15m price tag on Chelsea target

Fenerbahce will look to put Chelsea off their Danish centre-back Simon Kjaer by demanding £15m, according to the Star.
Chelsea are in need of reinforcements at the back with Kurt Zouma's injury and John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic all past their prime, which has led to the Blues considering the 26-year-old after a fine campaign at the heart of the Yellow Canaries' defence.
With three years to run on the player's current deal, after joining from Lille last summer, Chelsea may be forced to pay over the odds given his inconsistent form in the past during spells in Ligue 1 as well as Wolfsburg and Roma.

Fischer set for surprise Boro move

File this under unexpected, as Middlesbrough appear close to clinching the signing of Ajax's Viktor Fischer, once considered one of Europe's finest young talents.
The 21-year-old has lost his way since a serious injury and struggled to pick up starts for the Dutch giants, though he is part of Denmark's latest squad. The Mail says Fischer will cost just £3.8 million, which appears well worth the gamble for Aitor Karanka.
Fischer bagged 10 goals last season and was previously tracked by Arsenal and Manchester United, but Boro appear ready to take him to the Premier League now.

Palace ponder Berahino move

Crystal Palace look to make a statement this summer by forking out £7m for Saido Berahino, which could represent quite the bargain for Alan Pardew's side given the 22-year-old was linked with a £25m move away from West Brom last summer.
After the heartache of Wembley last weekend, Eagles supporters will be boosted by the Mail's news that the Baggies' centre-forward could be moving to Selhurst Park. Palace will have to beat out competition from Watford and Stoke for Berahino, who Pardew previously targeted while in charge of Newcastle.
Berahino has dominated previous transfer windows after a protracted transfer to Spurs failed to materialise and with the player's current deal set to expire in a year, Palace may seize the opportunity to bring in the highly-rated striker on the cheap.
