Arsenal blow! Paris Saint-Germain in talks with Gunners target Alvaro Morata
Alvaro Morata has scored 27 goals in two seasons at Juventus
Paris Saint-Germain have held two meetings with the agent of Arsenal target Alvaro Morata in the past ten days, according to reports in France.
The Spanish striker is expected to leave Juventus this summer after spending two seasons in Turin, scoring 27 goals.
Real Madrid have the option to buy the striker back for £23million and they are expected to do that before selling him in for double the price.
Arsenal have made Morata their prime target this summer and have informed the player of their interest but, according to L'Equipe, PSG are fighting the Gunners for the 23-year-old's signature.
The French champions' sporting director, Olivier Letang, has met with Morata's agent, Juanma Lopez, twice in the past ten days as they tried to thrash out a deal.
Real have informed clubs they will not be keeping the Spain international and that bids in excess of £40m will be considered.
